VP, Commercial Loan Officer

WATERLOO, IA  |   $80K – $100K + BONUS

Strong community bank is looking for an experienced Commercial Loan Officer for their team. Great opportunity for the established lender or ‘up and comer’.  Will inherit an existing portfolio of Commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with existing clients and potential customers on Commercial Loan opportunities.
• Assist in analyzing and assessing borrower’s financial standing through statements, cash flows, tax returns and financial trends.
• Manage and grow existing portfolio of clients through networking and further business development.
• Contribute to the full understanding of the client’s business and offer additional strategic guidance on their business plan.
• Verify that transactions comply with all laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Real Estate or Finance)
• Minimum of 5 years Commercial Lending experience
• Strong Credit skill set
• Prefer experience with larger, more complex loan scenarios
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and administrative skills with great attention to detail
